Grief Resources

Friends, I want to share a project and free resource I’ve completed for those of us who are grieving.

Over the last year as we’ve been rebuilding our lives I’ve often wished for an organized place I could find resources. I needed practical tips, scripture, book recommendations, and local resources. I need something to make the dark tunnel we were in, a little less dark.

I have also found my friends and family needed something similar. They wanted to know how they could help, they needed to grieve themselves, and often we had a thousand needs without the words to answer.

Several months ago, I realized I had the skills and capacity to create a place on my website where sorrow could meet practical needs and resources. After months of planning and design work, I am excited to share a redesigned and updated website with you that includes a grief resource for those walking through primary grief and also includes resources for friends and family. This is a completely free resource so anyone can access the practical things Wesley and I have discovered as we walk through grief.

Included in this section of my website is scripture, healing from miscarriage, meal tips, local resources (for Temple, TX), book recommendations, podcast recommendations, and more.

This is a small beginning to the grief directory I am slowly expanding. I intend to continue building these resource pages as I learn more and discover healthy ways to grieve in my own journey and as I learn from those around me.

I hope this becomes a helpful resource to many of my fellow grievers as we walk along side each other in our sorrows and tragedy. I want it to be a place you can refer to in your own losses and as you walk beside others facing loss. Maybe you don’t need it now, but maybe one day, sorrow strikes, and this website will give you the next right steps you need to face grief.
